Named After a Lake in Western Uganda
Rwizongo Safaris Africa takes its name from Lake Rwizongo, a captivating twin crater lake in Bunyaruguru, Western Uganda — renowned for its deep, dark waters and surrounded by lush papyrus reeds.
The company was established on 21 February 2017 by a team of tourism experts and consultants, and formally registered on 21 December 2022 under Registration Number 80020003944616. We are based at Abeesiga Mukama Complex, Plot 602, on Kasasa along Mityana Road, Kampala.
Beyond tourism, Rwizongo Safaris Africa is affiliated with YECODE Uganda and the East Africa College of Commerce — training and empowering the next generation of tourism and business professionals.
