What to Expect
This safari is built around Kenya's premier wildlife reserve, the Maasai Mara, known for its open savannah, resident prides of lion, and exceptional Big Five sightings. Days are shaped around sunrise and sunset game drives in a 4x4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof, with a traditional Maasai village visit built into the itinerary. Wildlife viewing is good year-round, with the Great Migration — when wildebeest and zebra cross from the Serengeti — running from July to October. An optional hot air balloon safari over the plains can be added.
